그녀가 어떻게 좋은 학교에 들어갔는지 물어보세요. 

Please ask her how she got into a good school.

 

 

…ㄴ 지 얼마 안 돼요 It hasn’t been long since…

 

지갑을 새로 바꾼 지 얼마 안 돼요. It hasn’t been long since I changed my wallet.

 

요리를 배운 지 얼마 안 돼요. It hasn’t been long since I started learning to cook.

 

새로운 식당이 생긴 지 얼마 안 돼요. It hasn’t been long since the new restaurant opened.

새로운 외국어를 공부한 지 얼마 안 됐어요.

It hasn’t been long since I started studying a new foreign language.

Synonym) …자마자 as soon as…

 

그가 떠난 직후에 전화가 바로 왔어요. The phone rang right after he left.

       

그가 새 장소에 도착한 직후에 그녀를 다시 만났어요. 

Right after he arrived in the new place, he met her again.

 

 

…ㄴ 채 while still in a certain state of…, while …ing, with…, in a … state, remaining in that state of …ing

 

그는 손에 총을 쥔 채 벽에 기대 앉아 있었어요.

He was sitting against the wall with a gun in his hand.

 

그녀는 다리를 꼰 채 앉아 있었어요. She was sitting with her legs crossed.

 

그는 팔짱을 낀 채 서 있었어요. He was standing with his arms crossed.

일을 시작한 후부터 바빠졌어요. I became busy after starting work. 

 

그를 처음 만난 다음부터 그 사람만 생각하게 됐어요. 

Since the first time I met him, I couldn’t stop thinking about him.
